Calgary Stampede's Time-Lapse Video Shows Amazing Transformation After Flood

WATCH: Amazing Time-Lapse Of Flooded Stampede

A time-lapse video released by the Calgary Stampede shows the amazing transformation the Stampede grounds went through after the flood.

The video titled, "Our Second Century Begins," shows water rising in a hallway before documenting cleanup and rebuilding efforts on the grounds.

"In under two weeks our second century came together because we are greatest together," says the video, as the Stampede celebrates its 101st year this year.

"Thank you to all who helped rebuild this community gathering place. Thank you to a city who's spirit cannot be washed away," it adds.

The Calgary Stampede also released t-shirts with the slogan "Hell or High Water," which have raised more than half a million for flood relief.

“We are overwhelmed with the amount of support that Canadians have shown Alberta,” said Deanne Carson, vice-president marketing and external relations, Calgary Stampede.

“We would love to sign a cheque for more than a $1 million dollars to this relief fund by the end of Stampede."
