Suspect breaking into Etobicoke homes again, police say

Toronto police believe that a male suspect is breaking into homes in Etobicoke, just as he was doing months ago.

Police issued a news release Monday advising the public that a man had broken into four homes in the Berry Road and Park Lawn Road area between 12:55 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The suspect rummaged through the homes that he broke into and in one case sexually assaulted a woman as she slept, police say.

Police say they believe this is the same suspect who broke into homes and who was responsible for sexual assaults in Etobicoke last September.

Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at 416-808-7474, or to call Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477.
