We all know the cops must hear some crazy excuses when they stop drivers for traffic violations — and this week, the Abbotsford Police Department has decided to let us in on some of the best as part of "Driving Excuses Week."

On Monday, the department announced its plan to expose the stupid stories drivers come up with via Twitter.

Ridiculous excuses so far include a driver complaining he was only stopped because he was driving a Porsche, another who claimed he was only holding his cellphone because he "can't let it go", and another who whined after he was arrested that his life was ruined as he was planning to travel the next day.
