Langley Car Crash Caught On Dashcam (VIDEO)

Crash Caught On Video

A dramatic YouTube video that shows a car accident along a Langley highway is reportedly not as bad as it looks.

The dashcam video, filmed from a Mercedes, shows a small car being forced off Highway 1 after it pulls into a truck's blind spot.

The truck tries to change lanes, forcing the car onto the shoulder where it flips over into bushes. The driver of the Mercedes can be heard exclaiming, "Oh my God! Oh my God!" before pulling over to help. The truck can also be seen pulling over up ahead.

A woman was driving the crashed car with two minors at the time. She suffered a broken wrist while the other passengers had minor injuries, Metro News Vancouver reported.

The truck driver was given a $109 ticket.

RCMP Cpl. Robert McDonald characterized the crash as a "very minor" accident, though he also cautioned people to keep a "fair distance" from other drivers, The Province reported.

"Anytime you have higher speed on the road and people try to move fast, there’s always potential for danger," he said.
