B.C. Tot Succumbs To Cancer
BC Children's Hospital

After battling cancer the entirety of her short life, the B.C. toddler known as "Baby Molly" has died. The sad news was announced by friends of the family Wednesday on the website dedicated to Molly's life.

"I am heartbroken to tell you that the beautiful, inspirational Molly Campbell passed away this morning," the message posted by Emma, who identifies herself as a family friend, reads.

"Your support has meant so much, and I know the Campbell family will appreciate additional prayers and love in the coming weeks. No family should have to go through this."

Molly was diagnosed with leukemia in December 2011, at just 28 days old. She kept the disease in remission for a year, but relapsed in November 2012 and was sent to Memphis for intensive chemotherapy, where, last month, she was put into a medically induced coma after her condition deteriorated.
