Andre Marin's report will review what his office has done in the past year. It will also update recent and ongoing investigations by his office.
Just yesterday, Marin launched a new investigation into whether the government is doing enough to protect children in unlicensed daycares.
The move comes after a toddler died at a home daycare in Vaughan, Ont., just north of Toronto, last week. Education officials admitted they failed to follow up on two of three complaints lodged against the daycare.
The Special Ombudsman Response Team (SORT) will be heading the investigation. The Ministry of Education has already been notified about the forthcoming probe.
