She's been named the "Most Beautiful Woman in the World" and is Bollywood's most sought-after star.
So it's natural that someone would want to pay tribute to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan by forever immortalizing her stunning good looks.
The Indian film actress' likeness has been re-created in a new wax statue, which will be unveiled at the Montreal branch of the Musée Grévin wax museum. The wax Ash took about six months to make, and captures the 39-year-old's appearance to a tee (check out the photo above on the left).
This isn't the first time Rai has been made into a wax figure, either; a similar wax statue of Rai is on display at the famous Madame Tussaud wax museum in London.
But as perfect as the Bollywood beauty and her pristine wax figure may appear, it seems that even Aishwarya has her flaws.
The former Miss World found herself in a (less literally) sticky situation when she was recently photographed posing with a corruption-accused Indian minister, Suresh Kalmadi, at the inauguration of a Kalayan Jewelers store in India.
Kalmadi is out on bail after spending 10 months in jail for his alleged involvement in the massive Commonwealth Games scam.
Needless to say, the photo didn't sit well with her fans. One fan tweeted, "Who said Suresh Kalmadi's career's over? He's found an alternative career. Like inaugurating stores with Aishwarya Rai."
But as uncomfortable as the photo op is, we're willing to give Rai the benefit of the doubt; after all, she barely seemed to interact with the shamed minster, and can hardly be blamed for the jewelry store's poorly-thought-out guest list.
