Toronto police have arrested a man and charged him in connection with a suspected hit and run in the city's east end on Thursday evening.
The victim was struck on Fallingbrook Road, near Kingston Road, just east of Victoria Park Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. and taken to a local trauma centre. He remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the 35-year-old victim and the driver were involved in an altercation shortly before the incident.
On Friday police arrested Kyle Hazleton, 30, of Toronto and charged him with criminal negligence causing bodily harm and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
