EDMONTON - A charge of hit and run causing death has been laid after a young Edmonton mother was killed on a city street last fall.
Faith Jackson, who was 18, was crossing a road on the morning of Oct. 14 when she collided with a car.
She died later in hospital.
A black-coloured vehicle with front-end damage was found later that day in a ditch in the city's northeast.
Police investigated for about nine months before arresting a 33-year-old suspect Thursday morning.
Kenneth Raymond Didechko is also charged with unlawfully causing bodily harm and obstruction.
