Sophomore quarterback Drew Willy gets start for Riders versus Hamilton

GUELPH, Ont. - Sophomore Drew Willy drew the start Saturday night for the Saskatchewan Roughriders' game versus the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Starter Darian Durant threw for 347 yards and four TDs in Saskatchewan's 37-0 win over Hamilton on Sunday but aggravated a foot injury he had suffered July 11 against Toronto.

Durant missed one practice last week wearing a walking boot on his injured right foot.

Saskatchewan coach Corey Chamblin had said Durant would be a game-time decision and less than an hour before kickoff the Riders announced Willy would get his first start of the season.

Durant and rookie Tino Sunseri were listed as the quarterbacks behind Willy.
