Man with gunshot wound walks into Toronto hospital

Toronto police are investigating after one man was shot early Monday.

The man arrived at St. Michael's hospital with a gunshot wound to the foot at around 4:30 a.m. Another man was reportedly also injured.

The injury occurred near Oak Street and Regent Street.

Police entered a nearby townhouse at gunpoint shortly after, taking a few men into custody.

After the shooting, police did a high-risk takedown of a car on Parliament Street and Dundas Street, which is about 300 metres away from the Oak Street and Regent Street intersection.
