Erik Norrie, Florida Man, Has Been Bitten By A Shark, Struck By Lightning, Bitten By Rattlesnake

Florida Shark Attack Survivor Is REALLY Unlucky

Florida's Erik Norrie might want to watch out when he goes outside. The long-time Florida fisherman was vacationing in the Bahamas in July when he was attacked by a shark. The animal took a chunk out of Norrie's leg.

"I felt this shark grab my leg, and the ripping sound, and when I turned around the water was filled with blood. It looked like a Jaws movie," Norrie told Tampa Bay's WTSP.

"It's called the shark bite diet, you can lose two pounds in three seconds," Norrie told Tampa Bay's Fox 13 "My father-in-law jumped in the water, between me and the shark, which was pretty courageous on his part and it was a scary moment, I can tell ya!"

This isn't Norrie's first run-in with danger. He's survived a lightning strike, a rattlesnake bite and being attacked by monkeys, according to the New York Daily News.

Norrie, a religious man, says his faith help get him through the latest ordeal. "I do believe that all my heart that the lord was the one who sustained me through his whole thing," he said to the New York Daily News.
