An approaching Pacific low-pressure system will bring increasing clouds to Metro Vancouver on Wednesday afternoon, with showers beginning as early as Wednesday evening, says CBC meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe.
Unsettled conditions will prevail through the rest of the week with showers in the forecast right through to Sunday at this point. Not a washout of a forecast, though, as Vancouver should get some sunny breaks between the showers most days.
Starting early next week, our summer-like pattern should return.
There is a general thunderstorm watch in place for the Interior for the risk of Tuesday afternoon/evening thunderstorms in the unstable air.
