Shailene Woodley Cuts Off Her Gorgeous Hair For A Good Cause (VIDEO, PHOTO)

Shailene Doesn't Look Like This Anymore

Shailene Woodley is not one of those people who cries when they get their long locks chopped off.

The "Divergent" actress, who is known for her luscious hair, debuted a shorter, blonder 'do on Twitter for her role as cancer patient Hazel Grace Lancaster in the upcoming movie "The Fault of Our Stars."

But "The Descendants" star also used her makeover for good; Shailene donated her hair to Children With Hair Loss, a non-profit that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer therapy.

The 21-year-old tweeted "work in progress... but luckily, #itgrowsback !!! :))"

Before the Jennifer Lawrence heir apparent showed off her short hair, Woodley teased her new look, tweeting "hair nubbins #itgrowsback #hairforhazel" with a pic of her newly chopped hair ends.

"The Secret Life of the American Teenager" star has been changing up her hair almost as much as she's made movies. The ambitious style icon-in-the-making dyed her hair red for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" earlier this year and then debuted a new blond look at the premiere of "The Spectacular Now" in June.
