When Kate Middleton, Prince William and their adorable baby boy, Prince George, posed for their first official photograph together earlier this week, we couldn't help but feel nostalgic for the Duchess of Cambridge's previous royal outings.

Though Duchess Kate is set to go back to work on Sept. 12 for a charity event at the Tusk Conservation Awards, we're getting a bit impatient to see what Catherine will be wearing for her post-baby body. (If you're thinking "leave Kate alone! She just had a baby! She should be on maternity leave for a long time!' we get ya. We're just a bit obsessed with our style queen.)

The future Queen consort of England has had a lot of practice making official royal appearances; after her engagement to William in 2010, the stylish beauty made her first appearance as a royal-to-be in Feb. 2011, when she christened a lifeboat.

Other royal duties included a tour of Canada, a visit to Scotland in April and her final public appearance before the birth of the royal baby at the Trooping of the Colour celebration in June. (Does a tour of the Harry Potter set count as part of Kate's job?)

So while we wait for Kate the Great to get on her with her royal duties, we take a look back at some of her more memorable appearances.
