The fourth year quarterback completed 24 of 28 passes with 335 passing yards over three quarters of play before resting in the fourth. Kennedy, an Ontario University Athletics all-star last season, was also Windsor's second leading rusher, totalling 108 yards on 15 attempts.

Evan Pszczonak grabbed three touchdown receptions, which also ties a Lancers' single-game record, and totalled six catches for 102 yards.

Veteran running back Mitch Dender picked up 111 yards on 13 rushes for Windsor, while rookie Nigel Applewhaite made good use of his first-ever start, running the ball nine times for 88 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
