Taylor Swift was probably breaking a lot of hearts at the 2013 MTV VMAs!
The "I Knew You Were Trouble" crooner channeled her inner Old Hollywood starlet à la Grace Kelly on Sunday night- but with a twist.
Swift sported retro curls and bold red lips in a modern take of Scarlett Johansson's iconic Marilyn Monroe look but rather than wear a vintage frock, the Red singer sported a clingy navy Herve Leger by Max Azria bandage dress with a swooping neckline and, in true Taylor Swift style, lots of glitter at the bust. Eat your heart out, Harry Styles!
Luckily for our Swifty, she didn't have to dodge Kanye West on stage while accepting her award for Best Female Video but she did manage to get a jab in at her One Direction ex-boyfriend, telling the crowd "I also want to thank the person who inspired this song because he knows exactly who he is, because now I've got one of these." Cut to an awkward-looking Harry! (Oh, and did we mention that she told Harry to STFU? Shut the front door!)
