Sandra Bullock's Venice Film Festival Dress Defies Gravity (PHOTOS)

Sandy's Dress Defies Gravity

When Sandra Bullock hits up a red carpet, no other star even exists, not even Geroge Clooney.

America's Sweetheart (no, not Julia Roberts or Reese Witherspoon) attended the 2013 Venice Film Festival premiere of her upcoming movie "Gravity" wearing a showstopping and, dare we say it, gravity-defying gown on Wednesday.

The 49-year-old rocked a red strapless J. Mandel gown which featured asymmetrical draping and racy slit. Say goodbye to Miss Congeniality once and for all!

The mom of adorable son Louis completed her look with a glamorous messy updo, a black Roger Vivier clutch and sexy ankle-strap sandals.

The attention-grabbing look is a far cry from the bulky spacesuit Sandy has to wear in "Gravity," a film in which she and co-star Clooney play astronauts who are trying to return to Earth after they are left drifting alone in space.

The film, which is garnering a ton of buzz, is premiering at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival which means we will be seeing a lot more cute moments like this.
