The bad news comes just over a year after the province announced a $3.8-million payroll rebate offer to help Radian6 create 300 full-time jobs in Fredericton and Saint John over five years.
The company's parent, Salesforce.com, announced Thursday that it is cutting 200 jobs from its global workforce, with about one third of the cuts in New Brunswick.
The parent company also shed more than 100 jobs last October, again as the result of an acquisition.
At the time, a vice-president with Invest New Brunswick said Radian6 had yet to receive any money from the province.
Salesforce.com, based in San Francisco, bought Fredericton-based Radian6 in March 2011 for $326 million.
