Crash With Moose Leaves One Dead

A man has died after a vehicle collided with a moose on Highway 16.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene and another woman suffered non-life threatening injuries after a moose collided with the small car on Sunday, said Hinton RCMP.

The crash occurred west of Hinton, Alta. near the Folding Mountain Campground around 10:15 p.m.

No names have been released and RCMP are still investigating the collision.
