It's a commonly held belief that men with accents do better with women, but what about speaking in a different language entirely?
That's the question the team at Whatever, a YouTube channel devoted to pranks and social experiments, tackle in their latest video: "Picking Up Girls Speaking French."
The answer? Speaking French while holding baguettes, even to women who don't have any idea what you're saying, will yield phone numbers. Norwegian? Not so much.
While the French in the video sounds more like it's from France than Quebec, the video's protagonist does give a fairly brutal performance of "O Canada" midway through the clip. The result? The women walk right by.
