Dean Cockerill, a pulp mill worker from Gibsons on B.C.'s Sunshine Coast has won this year's PNE Prize Home Lottery.

The winning ticket was drawn Thursday night by "Bachelorette" and "Love It Or List It Vancouver" star Jillian Harris at the PNE site in Hastings Park, reported the Times Colonist. The prize package, including the house at Sun Peaks Resort near Kamloops in B.C.'s Interior, is worth close to $1.3 million.

The winner is usually whisked away by limo straight after the draw to visit the house, but Cockerill is currently in Manitoba and arrangements will be made for his prize homecoming on his return, according to The Province.

The main floor of the home, with interior design by Harris, is bordered by windows to create an open and airy space, which contrasts heavily with the dark-panelled kitchen. There is also a wine room, as well as indoor and outdoor fireplaces to entertain family and friends.

The property boasts nine rooms, including an entrance foyer, games room and guest room. The master bathroom has a standalone claw-foot tub, and there is also a hot tub, pool table and garden furniture.
