Every week, we take a look at a celebrity who's wearing an uncomfortable-looking outfit and lovingly dissect their decision.
Last week:Francesca Cavallin's revealing dress
This Week: Rebecca Hall
Where: Venice Film Festival
That's Uncomfortable Fashion Crime: White and gold sandals.
Is it too much to ask actress Rebecca Hall to get some proper heels on her while walking a red carpet?
The "Vicky Christina Barcelona" star looked great from the ankle up this week at the "A Promise" photo call wearing a yellow-and-black digital print Christopher Kane dress with a cute office-inspired collar and pockets. (We feel that every dress should come with pockets.)
However, the 31-year-old Brit totally messed up her style juju by wearing unflattering white-and-gold Robert Clergerie sandals (yes, SANDALS) on the red carpet. Nope, the premiere wasn't at the beach or in someone's garden but at one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world (next to the Toronto Film Festival, of course).
If Sam Mendes' girlfriend didn't feel like playing with the big girls, why couldn't she have worn cute flats or pulled a Kristen Stewart and punked out the outfit with a pair of Chucks?
Sadly, we will never know the answer.
