Eminem Trolls ESPN With Bizarre 'Saturday Night Football' Interview (VIDEO)

WATCH: Eminem Trolls ESPN

Why was Eminem on your TV screens during ESPN's "Saturday Night Football" halftime show? Sure, it was to promote his new song and video "Berzerk," as well as his upcoming album "The Marshall Mathers LP 2," and was between his native Michigan and Notre Dame.

But considering he almost never does interviews, why do onewith ESPN's Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit in the middle of a college ballgame?

Apparently to troll them for some free publicity.

As the interview kicked off, Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, acted like he was super high. His head head kinda bobbed around, eyes out of focus and mouth hangig open. He seemed on the verge of losing consciousness, or at least losing touch with reality. The delay before his first response was was an epic exercise in awkwardness.

But then he muttered "live TV freaks me out a little bit," and was magically back to normal, answering inane questions about his music video ("What are you most excited about with this new album?" Nothing.") and discussing his love of the Detroit Lions.

Eminem's "MMLP2" album comes out November 5th.
