The head of the Pembina Institute has hit back against criticism over the awarding of city contracts to the environmental think tank.
Executive Director Ed Whittingham issued a statement earlier this week, responding to criticisms the city paid the group more than $300,000 to produce environmental reports relating to its Community Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan.
