Mayor to host 2nd 'Ford Fest' of the year in Etobicoke

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford's annual community barbecue, dubbed Ford Fest, is back in Etobicoke for its 13th year.

It's being held today at Centennial Park, located on Eglinton Avenue West, just west of Hwy. 427.

The free bash has in the past been hosted at Ford's suburban Etobicoke residence, with his brother, Coun. Doug Ford, and other members of the Ford family mingling with constituents and serving up food and beverages.

Earlier this summer, the mayor hosted a Ford Fest at Thomson Memorial Park in Scarborough. He said at the time that he planned to throw another fall event in his ward of Etobicoke.
