Who said blonds have more fun?
Our girl crush Carey Mulligan hit up the red carpet at the "Inside Llewyn Davis" premiere over the weekend at the New York Film Festival, showing off her new, natural brown hair.
The 28-year-old actress, who had been previously rocking light blond locks, paired her short 'do with a glamorous black halter Alexander McQueen dress which featured an ornate gold leaf choker and cut-outs at the waist.
And since her neck was already bedazzled to the max, "The Great Gatsby" star opted to not wear jewelry and sport simple black satin pumps and barely-there makeup which is a huge trend for fall 2013.
Also at the premiere was Mulligan's hubby, Marcus Mumford of the folk band Mumford & Sons, who looked quite dapper in dark jeans, a suit top and fedora.
