22 Minutes Thinks Senator Pamela Wallin Should Be Played By.. Al Pacino (VIDEO)

WATCH: What If Al Pacino Played Pamela Wallin?

With so many twists and turns, the scandal currently rocking Canada's Senate could make for a decent movie.

And if anyone ever decides to make a film about Senator Pamela Wallin, the folks at "22 Minutes" think Al Pacino should play the pride of Wadena.

In a preview of Tuesday night's show, the first of the season, comedian Mark Critch does a pretty good impression of the iconic actor.

"I will continue to do my work for the people of Saskatchewan. Now if you guys want to get rough with me, say hello to my little friend," he says, pulling out a credit card.

You know, we here at HuffPost Canada Politics had a hunch "22 Minutes" might take on the upper chamber in its season opener.

But the Senate scandal with a side of "Scarface"? Gold.

This Hour Has 22 Minutes airs on CBC TV Tuesday nights at 8:30 p.m. Catch more clips of the show on Facebook and Twitter.
