Councillor's quest to find Scarborough's cutest dog

In what Toronto councillor Glenn De Baeremaeker described as "a celebration of all-things dog", Scarborough's Cutest Dog contest awarded prizes for different sizes of dog and best trick, best-dressed, most resemble their owner and the longest tail.

The event took place on Sunday at Thomson Memorial Park, Toronto's largest dog park and the only dog park with a special small dogs-only section.

Not to appear exclusive to canines, De Baeremaeker is welcoming owners of Scarborough cats, birds and fish to email him a photo by Tuesday, Oct. 15, at or dropped off at the councillors’ reception desk at Scarborough Civic Centre.
