Missing Terrace mushroom-picker Ike Murray found alive

A man who went missing on a mushroom-picking trip east of Terrace more than two weeks ago has been found alive.

Ike Murray, 26, was found Monday afternoon by CN rail workers on the tracks near Cedarvale, a small community in the Skeena River valley in northwestern B.C.

RCMP say Murray was transported by ambulance to Mills Memorial Hospital in Terrace where he is in stable condition.

"It's a miracle, as far as I'm concerned," said Murray's uncle, Leon Collins.

"I'd just love to hear what he has to say. It's kind of the important thing, right? ...To know what happened and how it played out."

Meanwhile the search continues for 32-year-old Michael Devlin Sabo, who was reportedly mushroom-picking with Murray when the two went missing.
