The Hard Rock Casino Vancouver is set to throw open its doors with a lavish party featuring Hedley on Dec. 20.
Coquitlam's Boulevard Casino has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation under the Hard Rock brand and the opening party will be a property-wide celebration, with the Abbotsford band playing songs such as "Anything," "Invincible" and "Perfect" in the former Red Robinson Show Theatre.
Attendees will have a chance to roll the dice on the casino's 80,000-square foot gaming floor, which has over 950 slot machines and all the classic table games. Punters can take a break in the restaurants and bar and lounge areas that will use locally-sourced foods, the company notes.
And what's a Hard Rock venue without guitars to adorn its walls? The Hard Rock Casino Vancouver will be the first gaming property in Canada to feature mementoes to music legends, said a July news release.
