Before-And-After Makeup Photo Shows Woman's Stunning Transformation

LOOK: Stunning Before-And-After Makeup Photo

We already know that makeup has the power to transform one's face but one woman proved that a little powder, blush and eyeshadow could render one completely unrecognizable.

After a before-and-after makeup photo on Reddit caused controversy, someone new decided to prove that it is pretty simple to transform one's face with a few tools.

Reddit user rivarawr posted two side-by-side photos of a woman who, on the left, is wearing a white robe and sporting not a hint of makeup while on the right, the same woman is seen heavily caked with blush, lip gloss, filled-in eyebrows and lots of mascara. The caption: "The power of makeup."

Where before the young woman had thin eyebrows, barely-there lashes and a pale face, the after photo showed someone who looked completely different with thick brows, lengthened lashes, bigger eyes and rosy cheeks.

But not everyone was convinced that she was the real deal; one commenter wrote, "Probably more like the power of Photoshop," while another wrote, "Real beauty does not require makup! [SIC]."

Despite some negative comments, many women are turning to Reddit to show off their makeup skills; user gingeralee posted a photo on the site showing how she transformed herself from a young adult to a 70-year-old woman.

What do you think of her before-and-after look?
