CALGARY - Toronto has been named host city for the 2013 World Sledge Hockey Challenge.
The Canadian squad will be joined by teams from Japan, Russia and the United States at the Dec. 1-7 tournament at the MasterCard Centre.
"We are excited about getting back to game action in Toronto," Canadian head coach Mike Mondin said Thursday. "The World Sledge Hockey Challenge is one of the biggest events in our sport, and it's sure to be a great week on the road to the Paralympics."
Canada dropped a 1-0 decision to the Americans in last year's tournament final at Calgary.
