Think you've got the perfect costume idea for Halloween 2013? Think again because the celebrities have been there, done that.

Did you want to be a marijuana plant this year? Lady Gaga beat you to it. What about dressing up as blond mermaid? Too bad, Kim Kardashian went there last year.

While there are plenty of new ideas to be worn this year (we bet we're going to be seeing a lot of Katniss Everdeens and Miley Cyruses), when it comes to dressing up with imagination, celebs have the resources, money and time to create out-of-this-world costumes (hi, Heidi Klum!).

So while we wait to see what Paulina Gretzky, Kim K and of course Ms. Klum wear this year, let's take a look back at what they've worn in the past.
