Fuel prices jump in New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador

MONCTON, N.B. - Fuel prices are on the rise in New Brunswick and Newfoundland.

It's the first time in six weeks that the price of gas has risen in New Brunswick.

The new maximum price for regular self-serve gasoline is now $1.27 per litre — an increase of 2.1 cents.

The price of diesel has jumped 1.3 cents per litre, and furnace oil is up 1.4 cents.

In Newfoundland and Labrador, the price of gas has jumped by two cents, and diesel rose by 1.5 cents.
