Growing up, there was nothing more satisfying than opening your trick or treating pillow case to find piles and piles of chocolate bars, classic candies and even bags of chips.
But often, buried deep in that pile of deliciousness, are awful, stale and questionable Halloween "treats." We're talking about the candy corn, stale gum and the random apples people thought were a good idea.

And even though Halloween is probably a dentist's worst nightmare, some experts recommend giving out chocolate bars instead of candy since chocolate melts quickly in your mouth and decreases the amount of sugar left on your teeth.
And whatever you do, DON'T give out sugar-free candy. It's called "trick or treating," not "trick or disappointment."
