'Vancouver City 2' Time-Lapse Video Is Beautiful

WATCH: Gorgeous Vancouver Time-Lapse

Vancouver is a beautiful city no matter how you capture it, but a time-lapse video released Monday shows Lotusland at its very best.

Timelapse HD's "Vancouver City 2," which took over six months and 50,000 photos to complete, shows popular landmarks such as BC Place Stadium, the Gastown Steam Clock and Canada Place in a fast series of high-resolution photos that make the area look simply gorgeous.

The Vancouver-based company has produced many time-lapses that have drawn enormous attention online. Their latest is a sequel to 2010's "Vancouver City," a similar video that was released just prior to that year's Vancouver Olympics and drew nearly 3 million views on YouTube.

Timelapse HD has also produced "Olympic City," a video that showed life on the streets of Vancouver during the Games themselves.
