All eyes were on Kate Middleton's son Prince George at his royal christening on Thursday but Pippa Middleton tried to take away some of the limelight from her famous nephew in a showstopping outfit.
The notorious party girl attended the royal-studded event wearing an ivory coat and dress and blush heels which colour-coordinated with Kate's two-piece outfit and baby George's replica christening gown. (Pips even got to read a lesson to the future King of England during the ceremony.)
The cost of the Suzannah Crabb-designed ensemble? While it's probably out of our price range, a similar version retails for $1,200.
But what we really want to know is: Does the 30-year-old's outfit cost more than wee George's gown? While we may never know the answer to that, we do know that Pippa doesn't share a fashion designer with the Queen!
Even though Pips isn't wearing a gown that has been passed down through generations of royals, she can still be proud of her new frock, which drew inspiration from the 1960s.
Designer Suzannah Crabb said she worked with Prince George's auntie to create a bespoke version of a vintage cream coat and added a pink blush trim and oyster silk lining.
"The outfit had to be both beautiful and appropriate from the length of the hem, to the style of the millinery and the subtle colour and cut," said Crabb. "Lace has been a popular fabric choice by significant guests at royal christenings since 1926 and a dress in a style similar was worn by Princess Victoria of Sweden to the christening of her daughter Princess Estelle in 2012."
