Adriana Falcon Case Re-Opened By Vancouver Police

Police Re-Open B.C. Teen Overdose Case
Facebook

Adriana Falcon's death is receiving renewed attention from the Vancouver police, one week after her father alleged that they weren't doing enough to investigate her overdose.

The police announced on Wednesday that they were re-opening the investigation into the death of a teenage girl in a Haro Street rooming house on Sept. 16.

They didn't name Falcon in a news release, but the 15-year-old White Rock teen has been identified as the victim in an overdose of methamphetamines and heroin on the same date in the same location.

Police say the death does not appear suspicious, but that information from the BC Coroners Service has led them to re-open the case.

The announcement comes after Falcon's father Rick took to Facebook and called on police to investigate a 28-year-old man he believes provided Adriana with the drugs that killed her.

Rick alleged that the man poses a risk to young women and blasted the police for a perceived lack of interest in Adriana's case.
