But TSB Investigator Glen Friesen says they still haven't determined the cause of the crash that claimed three lives.
The Cessna 185 float plane, owned by Air Cab, crashed into an island in the middle of Potts Lagoon, on West Cracroft Island last Thursday.
The BC Coroners Service has identified the pilot as 42-year-old Kevin Williams from Lake Country, B.C.
The two passengers who chartered the plane to take them to a logging operation on the island were 59-year-old Frederick Wiley of Merville on Vancouver Island and Norman Slavik of Surrey.
The coroner says all three men were killed on impact when the plane crashed.
