Kijiji Burning Van Edmonton Ad: A Strange, Funny Commentary On Classifieds (PHOTOS)

LOOK: This Kijiji Ad Is CRAZY

An Edmonton Kijiji ad is offering a reliable, mint condition minivan for sale, but prospective buyers looking for a reliable, mint condition set of wheels may want to look somewhere else.

The ad is for a 1987 Plymouth Voyager van, with only 5,000 km, but shows only a burning hulk of what was probably at one point a 80's Chrysler family carrier.

Yes, the advertisement probably won't garner the $2,000 the seller is seeking for the flaming heap of automotive scrap but it is a fantastic, if not over-the-top, commentary on the brave new world of free online classifieds.

One of the biggest selling features of the vehicle is its "very realistic," custom flame job, reads the ad, next to a series of photos of the charred vehicular remains.

Crazy Kijiji Minivan Ad

As expected with online classified ads, the reaction to this clever post is mixed; some users panning it in anger, while others bask in the humour of it.

"No way that thing's only got 5000 kilometres on it," says Reddit user ohkatiedear.

"It looks mint to me. Nice job on the flame decals too," adds Reddit user bilalhouri.
