On Nov. 4, 2001, three unknown British actors stepped into the limelight at the "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" red carpet premiere at London's Odeon theater.

Those young stars-in-the-making were Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint who would eventually be forever linked to their characters Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley.

On that exciting evening, budding style icon Emma, who was just 11 years old, wore a long grey sack dress with capped sleeves and an elastic hem. The pint-sized star, who would eventually become the face of Lancome and Burberry, accessorized with a purple feather boa and lilac heels.

Fast forward 10 years and the grown-up actress wowed in a stunning bronze strapless Bottega Veneta gown as she walked her last "Potter" red carpet for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" premiere in New York.

But Watson wasn't the only "Potter" star whose style changed; Radcliffe made his red carpet debut in an understated blue three-piece suit while co-star Grint sported a casual hoodie underneath a green coat.

Nowadays, both actors have smartened up their red carpet style with Daniel opting for sleek tailored suits (as seen at TIFF 2013) and Rupert having fun with prints.

So, in honour of the 12-year anniversary of the first "Harry Potter" premiere, we take a look back at Emma, Rupert and Daniel's "Potter"red carpet style evolution.
