South Korea's Lee Sang-hwa, Dutch men's pursuit team break speedskating records

CALGARY - South Korea's Lee Sang-hwa broke her own world speedskating record in the 500 metres and the Netherlands bettered its own mark in the men's pursuit in a World Cup at the Olympic Oval on Saturday.

Lee finished in 36.74 seconds to top the record of 36.80 she set in Calgary on Jan. 20.

The Netherlands had a time of 3:37.17, breaking the mark of 3:37.80 set in Salt Lake City in 2007.
