Police find submachine-gun in Mississauga residence

A search of a Mississauga residence resulted in the seizure of a submachine gun Saturday night, police say.

Peel Regional Police say they executed a search warrant on Hyacinthe Boulevard, shortly before midnight on Saturday.

Inside the house, police say they found a submachine-gun, along with a stun gun and a pellet pistol.

A 20-year-old Mississauga man is facing 10 firearm- and weapon-related criminal charges.
