Commuters hit with delays on Deux-Montagnes line

An electrical breakdown on a commuter train has left thousands of commuters scrambling to find another way into the city.

The AMT, the agency that runs the suburban trains, says seven Montreal-bound trains on the Deux-Montagnes line have been cancelled. Two trains out of Montreal have also been cancelled.

The Deux-Montagnes line is the only one that is electrically-powered and is the sole line affected by the outage.

Passengers are being redirected to local buses headed to metro stations.
