Canucks' Tortorella frustrated after 5th straight loss

Vancouver Canucks coach John Tortorella says he's surprised by his team's performance after they dropped a 3-2 shootout decision to the lowly Florida Panthers on Tuesday night.

The Canucks did manage to score more than a single goal, but two was not enough — even against the Panthers, currently considered to be one of the worst teams in the NHL.

Tortorella said considering how many veterans are on the roster, he doesn't believe his players respected their opponents and were not ready to play from the time the puck dropped.
