Rob Ford Parody Clip Follows In Footsteps Of Kathleen Wynne's Running Ad (VIDEO)

WATCH: Ford Video Spoofs Wynne Running Ad

A new parody video imagines what might happen if controversial Toronto Mayor Rob Ford took a page from Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne and hit the road.

But the shot-for-shot remake of Wynne's so-called running ad doesn't exactly paint a pretty picture.

Wynne's commercial, titled "Never Stop," shows the premier listing things Ontarians may not know about her while jogging through a rainy, pastoral scene.

"One, I love running. Two, I try to speak simply and get to the point," she says before adding that she also sets goals that are really hard to achieve.

"I never stop until they're done," Wynne concludes in an ad that may set the stage for a provincial election expected this spring.

The Ford video, titled "Can't Stop," appears to have been shot on the same stretch of land. An actor, with plenty of padding under shirt, is shown chugging vodka as he runs and later lighting up a cigarette.

"First and foremost, I love running. OK? It's a bloodsport," he says.

The actor adds that he too sets goals, only "really, really, sincerely, sky's the limit, hard to accomplish" ones.

But the best part of the parody is probably its last moments, when Ford quickly turns around after the steep climb gets a little too much.

"No matter how hard I try, brother, no matter how hard I try... I just can't seem to stop. I have a problem. Everyone's got a problem! People on the weekends, they all have problems!"

Pretty funny stuff.

But this isn't the first time Wynne's ad has been spoofed.

Ontario Progressive Conservatives have also wasted no time suggesting Wynne is running away from the gas plant scandal that has rocked her Liberal government.

In an ad of their own, Tories remixed the footage with the sounds of police sirens and a narrator explaining that while Wynne is running, the OPP is investigating her office.
