OPP nab Toronto men on drug charges in Wawa traffic stop

A traffic stop in Wawa has led to a large drug seizure and the arrest of four Toronto men.

Provincial police pulled over two white SUVs last Thursday for speeding, and found almost $200,000 worth of drugs inside the vehicles.

The seizure included more than 65 pounds of cannabis, valued at roughly $133,000, and about a pound of cocaine, valued at close to $48,000.

All four men in the vehicles were arrested and charged with drug trafficking and face a bail hearing in Sault Ste. Marie Tuesday morning.
