Roy Fraser, a 56-year-old roofer, is accused of first- and second-degree murder in connection to the deaths of Kenneth Yaretz Jr. and Damien Marks.
Fraser told his murder trial he doesn't know who committed the murders or why the men were buried on his property.
He told the court he grew and sold marijuana, which led a friend to introduce him to Yaretz, who was interested in setting up his own marijuana grow operation.
Fraser testified that he had a good relationship with Yaretz, but that the man had borrowed his truck without returning the vehicle.
Court previously heard Yaretz was associated with the Independent Soldiers gang and had signed Fraser's pickup truck over to a Kelowna gang to cover a debt. (CHNL)
