As holiday season inches towards us on the calendar, you know what lies ahead: countless dinners, brunches, feasts, and family meals. So, over the next weeks, we will be showcasing the best healthy holiday meals Canadian parents can think up, and put them up against meals made by Chef Christine Cushing.

Each week, our challengers and our chef will be given a themed meal, and will be tasked in a friendly competition to see who can come up with the best recipe while using our list of 12 healthy ingredients. The best part is that you can use all of the recipes yourself to prepare a bevy of healthy holiday feasts! Consider it an early present.
